Score (Starship Captain)
Step into the cockpit as the captain of a starship navigating the galaxy. Your mission: face unique challenges at every stop and achieve the target score to advance. Whether it’s engaging in combat, exploring uncharted regions, or managing diplomatic encounters, every mission tests your strategic decision-making.
The gameplay revolves around using ship modules—represented as buttons on your console—to manipulate scores and reach mission objectives. Each button has unique effects, from adding or multiplying scores to applying turn-based modifiers or refreshing cooldowns. With limited energy and turns, you must carefully decide when and how to activate your ship’s abilities. The objective is distilled and abstracted down into reaching a SCORE (Like Balatro or Luck be a Landlord) (Missions are color-coded based on their theme: red for combat, green for exploration, blue for diplomacy, and yellow for utility. Your ship’s modules align with these categories, and misusing them—for example, using combat modules during diplomacy—can lead to penalties. Mixed missions combine multiple challenges, requiring even greater strategy)
